Low cost turbo, that also saves fuel!

How To Improve Engine Efficiency?
Engine efficiency is commonly defined as output of an engine versus the input to the engine to generate that output. Usually, raising the compression of an engine results in higher efficiency.
Engine efficiency=output/input
If the engine output is raised, say by enabling it to rev to a higher rpm, and at the same time the input is reduced in the process of doing that, won't the efficiency be doubly raised? In an automotive world where more power is normally possible only by increasing the fuel input, can this be possible?
The answer is yes! Using a Surbo, you will not need to press more on the accelerator to get more power, but you press less to get more power! The reason is related to how the Surbo is activated (see How It Works), with a relatively-closed throttle generating a back pressure at the Surbo, causing the Surbo to spin the air at high speed and creating a vortex, which raises air compression without altering the compression of the fuel. A relatively closed throttle also happens to give the signal to the car's computer for a lesser fuel input!
The usual way to increase efficiency in an engine is to raise its compression volumetrically inside the cylinder. However, there might be a practical limit to increasing the engine compression in petrol engines, lest it results in knocking (over-compression of petrol results in spontaneous firing before the spark plug is ignited). However, the Surbo can raise the air compression separately from the petrol, so the Surbo can raise the efficiency this way without causing a knocking problem. In fact, some customers with knocking engines, for example one driving a Chevrolet Captiva 2.4 automatic, said that with the Surbo, the knocking noises were gone.
In actual use, the Surbo is normally observed to bring the engine to the rpm red line with just half throttle (smaller input). If the rpm was delimited, the increase in output will be even higher, and the efficiency of the engine raised so much more. The top speed for the average 1.6 engined car equipped with Surbo also goes up by up to 30 kph, which is usually possible only via light turbocharging or a variable high lift cam system such as that found in a top-end Honda. What is more surprising is that it was not that the throttle was already floored for these Surbo cars, but that they had reached the rpm limit without full throttle. All these point to more effective, more efficient engines when they are assisted by the Surbo.
For diesels engines, when they are fitted with the Surbo, we always observe that the engine goes to a higher rpm even using just half of the accelerator travel, indicating a higher output. As the amount of diesel injected depends on how much the accelerator is pressed, we can say that the input has been reduced. Therefore the efficiency of the diesel engine, which is output divided by input, has also been raised by the Surbo. So try the Surbo today, and see how efficient and fun your ride can become!
